This is straightforward, and the highest performance option you have. Definitely no problem with the computer going to sleep. I was a beta tester on that program. The question is what type of device conflicts would I encounter. Does dropping the colours down to help? I am not sure how much of a difference this will make with the picture, but the current picture leaves something to be desired. Just watch out for fingerprints.

Wireless Presenter-to-Go Extension Display – Free download and software reviews – CNET
I think there must be something about Direct3D performance margo two video drivers are running. Goodbye Lorita, wherever you’ve gone But when you get that error message, it usually allows you to correct the settings and then restart. Too bad it is a week wait to get my hands on the bugger.
If anyone has any display-to-ggo with the mothods described besides the using the second VGA output on a laptop please let zp know. I believe there’s a setting in XP to control what happens when you close the lid. Can you make it the primary display, and will it remember that setting the next time? Hope that answers most of your questions. These can be used for XP as well.
It is great to finally get full use of my 23″ monitor instead of looking at the black bars of dead space on the sides.
In my situation I will gladly deal with a little lag for the extra real-estate. No registered users and 12 guests. I will see how dksplay-to-go runs for a little while and get back with any quirks or bugs. I imagine that they’re pretty slow, but I’ve never tested them.
It is still far from complete and it is very hard without the sources. Either way it is a minor issue, if one at all. I have tried maxivista and its a great cheap solution, which I will use in the interim. However, a handful of chips supported by older versions of PowerStrip dipslay-to-go regrettably been dropped from Version 3.
I picked up one with MB because it was the same price. Just watch out for fingerprints. I did try using it to solve this problem with no success.
MARGI Presenter-To-Go CF to VGA
Or is there some setting you need to change to risplay-to-go the monitor’s DVI input? Short of some kind of USB-based video adapter or a way to tweak the S3 driver, you may be out of luck.
Any thoughts on if this can make a difference? I have contacted Margi support with all of this information and will hopefully get a helpful response. When docked with the second video adapter in the Dock the ATIit runs slow.
Aside from any limitations of the card itself — they cited power and cooling issues — I would think that a PC Card running on the PCI bus isn’t going to compete with an AGP chipset anyway.
I have not unhooked everything and then re-hooked it up to see what settings it retains, but after rebooting, everything stays the same and the card remains the primary monitor.
There is virtually no detailed technical information about any NeoMagic chips besides the drivers. There are some new USB-based video adapters out xo. That’s what I’m hoping for.
Thanks for the help.
